I am not taking contributions to my campaign at the moment.

I am funding my campaign through the $2,500 contribution limit that candidates are allowed to spend on their own campaign. In order for contributions to qualify for the Contribution Rebate Program I would have to have my campaign financial statements audited which would cost at least $1,000. Therefore, it is not beneficial to take contributions until I am certain that I can raise significantly more than the cost of the audit.

In fact, I want to demonstrate that a campaign doesn't need to spend a lot of money to make an impact on the election.
